Skates fit true to size. If you don’t see your size try going up a size and wearing slightly thicker socks. Better to have a little extra room, than not enough. Keep in mind feet swell in the heat too!
Can I bring my own skates?
Yes! The Bentway is public city space, you are free to skate at anytime. Our rooftop skate trail at CF Shops at Don Mills requires you book admission online prior to arriving, as we have limited capacity to prevent overcrowding.
We’re all about creating an inclusive skate community for all. Please make sure your skates are in good working condition. We recommend wearing or renting protective gear to ensure the safety of all skaters.
What if it rains?
This is location dependent.
At The Bentway SUSO is open rain or shine! The skate trail is covered by the Gardner Expressway and remains dry. Due to safety precautions, our team will contact you if we are unable to open due to extreme weather conditions.
Our rooftop skate trail at CF Shops at Don Mills will not be open in heavy rain. We will notify you of any closure due to weather, and we’ll be happy to work with you to reschedule your skate to another time.
