The SUSO Story

SUSO Skate Co. was started as a side-hustle during the summer of 2021, operating out of a refurbished shipping container, located at The Bentway - underneath the Gardiner Expressway in downtown Toronto.

Thinking it was a one-and-done project, we sold through all of our inventory at the end of that first summer.

Later that same year we were approached by a mall to transform a rooftop parking garage into a pop-up roller rink. This was the start of our new business model working with malls and developers to turn their empty space into experiential, community destinations.

Fast forward to today and SUSO has welcomed over 100,000 skaters, opened 15+ pop-up locations and introduced our mobile skate van, delivering memorable skate experiences to communities across the Greater Toronto Area.

We pop-up, transforming unique and underused spaces with the goal of creating good vibes and memorable moments for the communities who skate with us.

Our mission is a simple one - get people active and having fun with friends and family, while reducing the amount of time they spend on their digital devices.

Less screen time for kids and adults alike is surely a good thing, right?

  • Our mission

We strive to create a meaningful experience you can share with your friends, family or partner. SUSO is a safe place for people to try skating for the first time, meet like-minded individuals, and benefit from the awesome physical and mental aspects of skating.

  • Our locations

SUSO reimagines underutilized, typically empty spaces. We create visually impactful and high energy skate experiences that get communities rollin', while driving footfall for our location partners.

Past pop-ups

SUSO Skate Co. has reimagined the unexpected. We've taken over rooftop parkades with panoramic views, breathed new life into abandoned H&M stores, and transformed massive SEARS department stores into full-blown roller rinks.
