NOTE: It is MANDATORY that you feel comfortable standing and moving forward on roller skates prior to class, this is to ensure that YOU get the most out of the lesson.
Kids Roller Skating
YOU WILL LEARN:
Join our roller skating kid's lessons and watch your child glide, twirl, and spin with joy! Our engaging and interactive program is designed to introduce children to the exciting world of roller skating while fostering balance, coordination, and confidence.
Our lessons provide a safe and supportive environment for kids of all skill levels to learn and improve their roller skating abilities.
Through fun games, obstacle courses, and structured exercises, we create an enjoyable learning atmosphere that keeps children actively engaged and motivated. Aside from developing physical abilities, our roller skating lessons encourage social interaction and teamwork. Kids have the opportunity to make new friends who share their passion for skating, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.
It is MANDATORY that skaters feel comfortable standing and moving forward on roller skates prior to class, this is to ensure that YOU get the most out of the lesson.
Confirm any age restrictions at our individual locations. Bring valid photo ID.
All protective equipment (helmet, wrist guards, knee & elbow pads) MUST be worn for the entirety of the lesson.
All skaters must sign our digital waiver prior to arriving. Check your emails!
You must arrive 15 minutes early to lace up for your lesson. The lesson will begin promptly at the start time. If you arrive late, the instructor has the right to refuse you and ask you to reschedule to the next available lesson. This is out of respect to the other students in the class.
About your instructor: Michka
Michka will be your instructor for classes at CF Shops at Don Mills. She has a lot of varied skating experience and has been on wheels her whole life! She started with inline skating and eventually fell in love with the vintage-style quad skates. The style of roller skating she does now is often referred to as rhythm skating or jam skating. Her goal for the lesson is to make getting active on skates fun and enjoyable for everyone!
About your instructor: Diana
Diana will be your instructor at The Bentway and Cambridge. She has over 15 years experience in the skate industry working as a roller skating coach, dancer, and choreographer. She has developed professional training programs for kids and adults. In addition, she has trained athletes who have participated in international competitions in different modalities and categories. Diana is always willing to help and bring out the best in each person.
